.MUSIC Registry Registrar Onboarding Program

The registry.MUSIC operates the authoritative domain name registry for .music domain names.

PREREQUISITES

A. ICANN Accreditation

Your business must be accredited by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) before you can become a domain registrar for the .music top level domain name (TLD). Go to the ICANN website to start the ICANN accreditation process. [https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/raa-application-2018-09-19-en]

 

B. Registrar Application

 

Apply and establish an account with registry.MUSIC. We may contact you to request documents as proof of your business and your authority to represent and act on behalf of your company. Apply using the online application form.

APPLICATION SUBMISSION

  1. After completing the Registrar Application, registry.MUSIC Registrar Support Team will contact the Administrative Contact provided with access and pass-code for Registrar Support. Please use Registrar Support for all future communications.  
     

  2. Registrar Support will follow up with requests for supporting documents: (1) REQUIRED: Non-Disclosure Agreement, (2) REQUIRED: Foreign Corrupt Practises Act Form, (3) OPTIONALLY: Liability Insurance Certificate, (4) IF REQUESTED: Incorporation Documents, and (5) OPTIONALLY: Registrar Logo. Submit the requested documents via the instructions on the pass-code protected Registar Support access.
     

  3. Registry.MUSIC will review your application and contact you with any questions.
     

  4. Upon approval of your application, registry.MUSIC will send you a copy of the RRA, Pricing Policy, and the Registrar Requirements Policy along with other information to assist in becoming an .MUSIC Registrar to the Administrative Contact on your original application. Please review the contract and its requirements thoroughly and contact registry.MUSIC with any questions.
     

  5. Once all terms of the RRA are understood and you confirm acceptance, please complete, sign and return the RRA to the Registrar Support Team via the instructions via pass-code protect Registrar Support. Be sure to include an updated copy of your Registration Agreement that details registrant adherence to .MUSIC policies.
     

  6. Registry.MUSIC will review the signed RRA and your updated Registration Agreement. If there are any questions, registry.MUSIC will work with you to resolve the issues. Once registry.MUSIC's review is successfully completed, the registry will sign the RRA and provide you with a fully executed version for your records.
